Wrap Around Care
Life for every parent is exceptionally busy which is why we host a number of before and after school sessions to ensure that your child can be cared for at the times that suit you.
All before school and after school care is charged at £9 per hour or part hour unless otherwise stated. In order for us to ensure the best care for your child all wrap around care must be booked in advance to allow us to appropriately staff each session.
Breakfast Club
Nursery – Year 8 • 7.30am – 8.15am
Our Breakfast Club will take place in the Highfield Dining Hall and your child will be spoilt for choice for what to have for breakfast. There is always a hot option such as beans on toast as well a cereal, porridge, yoghurt, toast and fresh fruit. A truly hearty breakfast to kickstart them for their active day ahead. Your child will be taken to their classroom by a member of staff at 8.15am ready to join their classmates for morning registration.
Before School Care
Nursery – Year 3 • 8am – 8.15am
We know and completely understand that mornings can be busy for many families, with parents juggling school drop off, work and other commitments. It’s important that your child’s start to the day is calm and stress free to set them up for a successful day of learning. That’s why we offer an earlier 8am drop off option for those families who need it, at no extra charge.
After School Care
Nursery – Year 2 • 3.30pm – 4.30pm
In our After School Care your child will have an expanse of games and activities on offer. Your child’s class teacher will take them there at the end of the day. We know children will be hungry after their busy day so they will have a healthy snack to keep them going until supper time.
Picnic Tea and Play
Nursery – Year 3 • 4.30pm – 6.30pm
During Picnic Tea and Play a high tea will be served at 5pm. There will be selection of sandwiches, crudités, fromage frais and fruit which your child will enjoy as a picnic with their friends. If your child is in an after school club until 4.30pm their club leader will take them to the session once their club has finished. If you child is in Year 3 they will join after their school day finishes at 4.40pm.
Prep and Supper
Year 4 – Year 8 • 5.30pm – 7pm
Prep begins at 5.30pm where your child will be supervised by an member of academic staff. Your child will be sat with peers from their year group in a dedicated classroom space. At 6.30pm once their hard work is done for the day your child will join the boarders from all year groups in the Dining Hall for a delicious homecooked supper.
