Full-time Teaching Assistant
Our Pre-Prep is a special place. Our team of dedicated staff are caring and nurturing, with a clear understanding of child development and how to support every child as an individual on their educational journey. We embrace outdoor learning and children can be found outside, no matter what the weather. We constantly reflect on our practice and we keep up to date with the latest research.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible and committed individual to join our team and support us in our mission to provide our children with the very best education. You will assist the teacher with the day-to-day running of provision; ensuring the children’s happiness, general welfare and safety are maintained to the highest standard. You will assist with delivering lessons, working with children individually, in small groups and whole class. As part of the team, you will be required to cover before and after school care, break and lunch duties.
While the appointed individual is applying for a position in Year 1, staffing is reviewed each year and therefore you may be asked to work in a different year group within the Pre-Prep in the future.

This is a full-time role. The working hours are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday from 8th January 2024.

Alumni Engagement and Development Officer
Highfield and Brookham is looking to appoint a dynamic, hardworking and efficient Alumni Engagement and Development Officer. This part-time role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes alumni relations, special events and current parents at Highfield and Brookham. Nursery Assistant

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible and committed individual to join our team and support us in our mission to provide our Nursery children with the very best start to their educational journey. You will assist the teacher with the day-to-day running of provision; ensuring the children’s happiness, general welfare and safety are maintained to the highest standard. You will assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of activities devised to meet children’s developmental needs and observe children and record these observations using the school’s tracking documents and systems.

1:1 Learning Support Assistant
We are looking for a Part-Time Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil. The ideal candidate will be professional, conscientious and have a caring disposition. They will be adaptable and flexible and have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential. You will be supported by a strong team and will be provided with morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch during term-time.

Evening Cleaner
We are looking for an Evening Cleaner to join the team who carry out general cleaning duties.
You will work from 4.30 pm to 9.00 pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday work on a rota basis.

This role continues throughout the school holidays.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be reliable and conscientious, with a good work ethic.

Swim Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly swim teacher to join our popular and highly regarded Swim School, offering swimming lessons to children aged 4yrs and above in our warm 20m pool.
Candidates must be qualified to either Swim England SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 Certificate and have experience of teaching all abilities, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Candidates must be prepared to teach in the water as well as out of the water.
The hours available are as follows, however if you can only do some of these hours, we would still like to hear from you.
Friday 3:45pm – 7pm
Saturday 8:00am – 12:45pm

Part Time Tennis Coach – Level 2 or 3/PTR
We are looking for an enthusiastic coach who is professional, organised and reliable and who relishes bringing the joy of tennis to children. The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of the team and be able to take larger groups of children as well as individual lessons. They must be authoritative with good communication skills, and be motivated, punctual and fun.
Our tennis coaching programme offer lessons to over 150 of our school pupils on a group, paired and individual basis, with pupils ranging from 4yrs – 13yrs. We also offer coaching to parents. Our coaching programme integrates modern techniques, drills and tactics and is designed to challenge, reward and develop each pupil’s game to help them reach their full potential.
The coaching hours are Monday – Friday 12:20pm – 1:55pm and the position is available from September 2023.
