Private swim lessons are a great way for children to progress with their swimming. It could be that your child is struggling to master a particular stroke, or perhaps they are very nervous in the water and the focussed, individual attention is just what they need to build confidence, or perhaps they aren’t suited to group lessons and this gives them the opportunity to progress their swimming in an environment they feel more comfortable in. Whatever the reason, our private swim lessons will help all children to progress.

The dates and times of the lessons are shown in the table below. All lessons are 30mins long. Lessons can be either a 1:1 or 1:2. In 1:2 lessons, both children must be of very similar ability.

Our holiday tennis course offers an enjoyable and engaging program tailored to children who want to learn or improve their tennis skills. Our Head Coach, Graham Holmes, combines professional coaching, interactive drills and games to ensure the children learn whilst having lots of fun.

During the course, children will work on; skills development, focussing on fundamental tennis techniques, fitness and movement, focussing on co-ordination, speed and agility and games and activities including mini-tournament, team challenges and skill-based competitions that introduce friendly competition and sportsmanship.

By the end of the course, as well as building on their skills and technique, children will also have improved their physical well-being, built on their social development and increased their love for the sport.

In this exciting course, children will embark on a journey of creativity and expression. Led by the wonderful Susannah Wilson, this immersive experience will ignite imaginations and is perfect for all aspiring performers.

Throughout the course, children will explore various aspects of performing arts, from acting techniques to choreography and musicality. They’ll develop confidence, teamwork skills and a deeper appreciation for the arts in a supportive, fun and relaxed environment. It doesn’t matter if your child has no experience, or has lots of it, everyone is welcome! All we ask is that they come brimming full of enthusiasm.

At the end of the course, parents are invited to come and watch a short performance by the children which gives them the opportunity to showcase their newfound talents.

Our Mini Olympics course, run by the fantastic team from JC Sports, will celebrate the launch of the Summer 2024 Olympics, by immersing children in a wonderful variety of Olympic inspired sports.

Using our fantastic facilities, including our athletics track, high jump, long jump pit, astro and sports hall children will enjoy 3 energetic days of running, jumping, throwing, catching and hitting. There’ll be plenty of active fun as well as some down time to recharge batteries. At the end of each day there will be a Mini Olympics for children to put into practice all the skills they have learnt that day in each sport.

It’s not just about physical sport though. During the course, in line with the Olympic values of friendship, solidarity, inclusivity and fair play, the team will ensure the important messages of teamwork, support, kindness and motivation are engrained in every activity. We want children to leave having had a positive physical and mental experience that they can take forward.

Hattie Roberts from Learning Beyond the Classroom returns to deliver more fantastic Bushcraft courses. The aim of the course is to introduce children to the wonderfully diverse woodland environment where they can run free, be themselves and have plenty of fun.

Using our beautiful woodland, Hattie will engage children in various hands-on activities including building shelters, discovering what life lies beneath the canopy, crafting with natural materials and mastering the art of fire-making. 

All the activities will embrace everything that nature has to offer and will encourage children to build new friendships, learn the value of collaboration and develop skills through games and teamwork. It will be a fantastic experience that will help children to discover their spirit of adventure, resilience and appreciation for the environment around them.

Tech Camp is all about making learning fun, encouraging skills-building and giving children the opportunity to try something different. In this course, children will enjoy programming challenges, Robot Coding, Photoshop Skills, Minecraft, DJ mixing and LEGO programming – we have all the creative boxes ticked. So whether your child is a tech whizz, or new to STEM, they’ll have a great time learning lots of fun new skills.

We are delighted to be welcoming back the fantastically talented Kate Walker to introduce children to the wonderful world of rag rugging and soft toy making. This course is perfect for children who are inspired by interesting crafting techniques, using different materials and fabrics and exploring textures, colours and patterns.

Guided by Kate and using all the tools of the trade, children will learn the fundamental techniques needed for making rag rugs and soft toys and will be able to let their creativity run wild as they design their own unique pieces. From colourful rugs to cuddly companions, each project is a chance for them to express themselves. Not only will children leave the course with their own fantastic homemade pieces, they will also have learnt and developed various essential skills including patience, perseverance and dexterity.

Our gymnastics course run by the fantastically talented Denise Ogilvie offers children from beginner to intermediate level the opportunity to learn and improve their gymnastics skills.

Gymnastics is a great way for children to build and improve the key components of fitness; core stability, flexibility, strength and balance. Using a variety of apparatus, Denise will engage, excite and work with each child at a level that is suitable for them. The course aims to encourage an interest in gymnastics for those who’ve never tried it before and improve the skills and techniques for those who already have some experience. Whatever your child’s ability, they will find the course rewarding and enjoyable and hopefully encourage children to pursue the sport further.

Our multi-sports course run by the brilliant team from JC Sports is a great way for children to enjoy an energetic, fun and dynamic holiday. With access to all of our fantastic facilities, the team will keep children engaged and excited through a variety of sports – some of which they may already know, but also some that they have never tried before.

It’s not just about sport though. Of course children will have a great time playing all the sports, but in addition to this, the team will ensure that all the activities which take place will actively help in developing and encouraging children’s social and personal skills, so that both minds and bodies are healthy.

The experienced coaches are passionate about bringing the world of sport to children. So it doesn’t matter of they are super sporty already or if they’re just starting on a their sporting journey, they will have the opportunity to enhance their abilities, learn new techniques and build confidence in various different sports.

This course offers children a truly immersive experience with lots of exciting hands-on learning. From captivating experiments to mind-boggling demonstrations, children will delve into the wonders of biology, chemistry, physics and beyond. The team will guide children through engaging activities, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking every step of the way.

Each day brings a thrilling new theme;

Forensics Day – children will become junior detectives and uncover mysteries through fingerprint analysis, DNA extraction and crime scene investigation.

Space Day – launches children into the cosmos where they will learn how to survive in a harsh environment, sampling and making fruit based space food, exploring special NASA materials and of course sending rockets flying.

Light Fantastic Day – children will explore the wondrous spectrum of light including UV, infrared and lasers including building periscopes and spectroscopes and designing their own Newton Wheel.

With each theme carefully crafted to inspire curiosity and ignite passion, this course offers a dynamic and enriching experience that sparks a lifelong love for science.

Join us for another delicious adventure with Sophie in which children will make wonderful summer inspired dishes. Sophie not only teaches essential cooking skills that will last a lifetime, but through a variety of recipes and cuisines, she also cultivates an appreciation for different cultures and expands children’s palates.

As always, all the food that is lovingly made by the children can be taken home for the rest of the family to enjoy. There’s no need to bring a packed lunch as children will be cooking their lunch. They may however bring a packed lunch if they wish.

Touch typing isn’t just for adults, learning it as a child not only helps them succeed at school, it provides an essential skill for their entire life. And with computers being an essential and part of everyday life, having the ability to touch type is more relevant than ever.

This course will be run by our in house touch typing expert Heidi Stedman. Heidi has spent many years helping children reap the benefits and rewards of being able to touch type and she will ensure that the children learn and progress, while having plenty of fun.

The course will use the TTRS (Touch Type, Read and Spell) curriculum which suits all children, but is especially beneficial for those with dyslexia. Every child on the course will have access to the TTRS app for one month after the course, so they can practise.

The classes will be kept small – no more than 8 children, meaning children will have plenty of individual support and attention to help them to fully embrace their new skill.

We are delighted to be welcoming back Hannah and Jo from FeltyBee to immerse children in the wonderful world of needle felting and marbling.

Hannah and Jo will guide the children in the art of needle felting, a technique where wool fibres are sculpted using special tools to create a multitude of different pieces, and marbling, a technique in which patterns are formed by floating coloured inks on the surface of a liquid, laying paper or fabric on the liquid which in turn creates beautiful and unique patterns.

Using these 2 fantastic crafting techniques, children will dive into memories of sunny days on the beach. They will design and create their own charming miniature needle felted beach huts with colourful roofs and little windows standing on a marbled wooden platforms of swirling ocean waves and sandy shores. The final pieces capturing the essence of seaside fun.

Dive into another fantastic course run by Hannah and Jo from FeltyBee! Children will embark on an adventure exploring the wonders of the ocean through a series of enchanting crafting activities.

Here are all of the crafting projects that children will be enjoying; to start, they will needle felt their own jellyfish. With colourful wool and expert guidance, children will create fantastic versions of these wonderful sea creatures. Next, they will unleash their artistic talents as they transform ordinary stones into miniature masterpieces inspired by the vibrant marine life beneath the waves, and using the amazing technique of marbling will create stunning ocean wave inspired patterns on seashells. Back on dry land, they will capture the beauty of the beach with a rainbow chalk art beach in a jar. And finally, they will create a mesmerizing hanging ocean collage.

This course is a truly wonderful crafting adventure, where the magic of the ocean comes to life in every stitch, stroke and swirl of colour.

Sensei Matt has 24 years of experience teaching Karate. He is hugely passionate about bring Karate and all it delivers into children’s lives. Karate is a truly holistic sport. The physical, mental and life skills benefits it delivers include; fitness, flexibility, confidence, self-esteem, focus and self-discipline.

Children of all abilities are welcome on the course and Sensei Matt and his team will work with everyone individually at a pace that is right for them. During the course children who have little or no previous experience will enjoy a fun, challenging and engaging introduction to Karate and will hopefully be inspired to continue their journey. Children with more experience will be able to develop their existing skills and technique and work towards unlocking their maximum potential.

The fantastic team from Liphook Golf Club return to deliver another fun and engaging golf course.

The course is aimed at children from beginner to intermediate level and the team will tailor the activities to each child’s individual ability and learning style. Beginners will start with the basic fundamentals such as proper grip, stance and posture and breaking down the swing into simple movements focussing on building a foundation. Those with a bit more experience will work on developing their existing skills including their full swing mechanics of rotation, weight transfer and balance and by experimenting with different shots and approaches to establish their own style. Children can bring their own clubs if they have them.

The team will deliver a positive, supportive and fun course which ensures children will have a wonderful time as they embark and progress on their golfing journey.
