Holiday Activity Courses
We run a selection of holiday clubs and courses for children aged from 4 to 13 years to keep children entertained over the school holidays. Our courses don’t just provide holiday childcare, they offer an educational experience and the chance for children to learn something new. Children from all over the local community including Haslemere, Petersfield and Midhurst are welcome to attend our holiday clubs as well as Highfield and Brookham pupils.

Tuesday is Mini Scientist Day. Children will discover the world through sensory play and simple experiments.
Wednesday is Mini Athlete Day and it’s all about movement and fun! .
Thursday is Mini Detective Day. Children will use their eyes, ears and thinking skills to solve simple mysteries.
Friday is Mini Space Explorer Day where children will journey into the stars through imaginative play and sensory fun.
Each themed day is carefully planned to be engaging and full of playful learning — helping our youngest learners grow, explore, and shine.

This Easter let your children discover the joy of the great outdoors with our bushcraft course.
Set in our beautiful woodland, over the two days, children will enjoy Easter inspired activities including; shelter building, crafting with natural materials, woodland games and mastering the art of fire-making.
Please note: this course takes place entirely outdoors, whatever the weather, so children should come dressed in warm, waterproof clothing. We’ll only head inside if conditions become unsafe.

Private lessons are a great way for children to progress with their swimming. It could be that your child is struggling to master a particular stroke, or perhaps they are very nervous in the water and the focussed, individual attention is just what they need to build confidence, or perhaps they aren’t suited to group lessons and this gives them the opportunity to progress their swimming in an environment they feel more comfortable in. Whatever the reason, our private swim lessons will help all children to progress.

The Bronze Rookie Lifeguard course is designed for children ready to take their lifesaving skills to the next level.
Following the Bronze award framework, the course develops essential skills across four key areas: advanced swimming and survival techniques, practical water rescue skills, emergency response and first aid awareness and a strong understanding of water safety and personal responsibility.
It’s a fun, challenging and empowering programme that helps young swimmers grow into capable, safety-aware individuals.
PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible to take part in the course, children must: have passed their Stage 7 Swim England badge, be able to swim 50m continuously, be able to swim in deep water and be able to tread water.

Our holiday tennis course offers ad enjoyable and engaging program designed for children who want to learn, improve and truly enjoy their tennis. Led by our Head Coach, Graham Holmes, each session combines expert coaching with fast-paced drills, exciting games and plenty of encouragement.

Touch typing isn’t just for adults, learning it as a child not only helps them succeed at school, it provides an essential skill for their entire life.
This course will be run by our in house touch typing expert Heidi Stedman. The course will use the TTRS (Touch Type, Read and Spell) curriculum which suits all children, but is especially beneficial for those with dyslexia. Every child on the course will have access to the TTRS app for one month after the course, so they can practise.
The group is kept small – no more than 8 children, meaning children will have plenty of individual support and attention.

The fantastic team from Liphook Golf Club return to deliver another fun and engaging golf course. The course is aimed at children from beginner to intermediate level and the team will tailor the activities to each child’s individual ability and learning style.
Beginners will start with the basic fundamentals such as proper grip, stance and posture and breaking down the swing into simple movements focussing on building a foundation. Those with a bit more experience will work on developing their existing skills including their full swing mechanics of rotation, weight transfer and balance and by experimenting with different shots and approaches to establish their own style.

Calling all budding young performers! Under the guidance of former West End performer, Susannah Wilson, children will immerse themselves in some of the wonderful songs and scenes from iconic musicals – The Wizard of Oz and Wicked. Our gymnastics course run by the fantastically talented and qualified Denise Ogilvie offers children of all levels the chance to learn and improve their gymnastics skills.
Gymnastics is a great way for children to build and improve the key components of fitness; core stability, flexibility, strength and balance. Open to all abilities, the course will cover floor, vault, springboard and trampette work. Bar and floor beam may also be available this year. There will also be opportunity to continue work on the British gymnastics badge scheme for those children who have already started and would like to achieve a higher badge or for those new to the scheme a chance to achieve their first award in gymnastics skills.
